Secretary General

Prateek Pathak is a distinguished twelfth-grade student at VidyaGyan Leadership Academy, rigorously pursuing the CBSE curriculum with a focused passion for political science, international relations, and entrepreneurial innovation. From an early age, Prateek found his calling in the world of diplomacy and discourse, his enthusiasm for Model United Nations growing into a profound commitment to fostering dialogue and understanding on the global stage.
A decorated NCC Cadet and recipient of the Best Cadet award at the regional level, Prateek embodies leadership rooted in discipline, resilience, and a service-oriented mindset. His role as a national finalist in the GenCAN activist programme further reflects his dedication to impactful youth-led advocacy, particularly in addressing climate change—a testament to his belief in leadership as a catalyst for responsible action.

Within the VidyaGyan community, Prateek is a respected figure, serving as Deputy Head Boy and playing an instrumental role in shaping critical conversations as a core member of both the TEDx and TED-Ed organizing committees. His previous leadership as Executive Director of VGSMUN 2024 culminated in one of the conference’s most refined and impactful editions to date.

Off the dais, Prateek balances his academic and leadership pursuits with a passion for volleyball and the creation of student-led initiatives that amplify young voices. His leadership style is defined by clarity, empathy, and unwavering resolve.

As Secretary-General of VGSMUN 2025, Prateek Pathak is honoured to guide this year’s conference—a gathering destined to be defined by conviction, collaboration, and meaningful diplomacy.

Sakshi Singh

President

Sakshi Singh is a 12th-grade humanities student with a deep interest in leadership, public speaking, and global affairs. As a TEDx and TEDEd speaker, she has used storytelling to explore complex ideas with clarity and impact. Currently serving as the Head Girl—and having previously held the post of Vice Head Girl—she brings consistency, creativity, and a strong sense of direction to every role she takes on. Known for her sharp ideation skills and instinctive leadership, Sakshi thrives in spaces that challenge her to think, speak, and act with purpose. Off the podium, she can usually be found debating global politics over lunch or dropping political jokes that make you think—and then laugh, just a little uncomfortably.

Mayank Kushwaha, serving as the Deputy Secretary-General of VGSMUN 2025, is a distinguished twelfth-grade student whose leadership is defined by discipline, intellectual rigor, and a steadfast commitment to service. As an ex NCC Cadet, Mayank exemplifies values of dedication and responsibility that permeate both his academic pursuits and his dynamic engagement within the Model United Nations community.

A seasoned delegate with an impressive track record across multiple MUN conferences, Mayank has earned recognition for his diplomatic finesse and incisive debating skills, including several High Commendations. His leadership capabilities were further showcased in his role as Committee Director at VGSMUN 2024, where his ability to merge academic insight with organizational excellence earned him respect as a reliable and inspiring leader.

Driven by a profound interest in Indian politics, governance, and law, Mayank’s aspirations to pursue a career in the legal profession are underpinned by a nuanced understanding of diplomacy and public service. Complementing his co-curricular achievements, he consistently attains academic excellence, embodying the ideal balance of scholarship and leadership.

Trisha manages the executive functions of VGSMUN'25, overseeing strategic planning and implementation. Her expertise in organizational management ensures smooth operations across all conference phases. She coordinates with various departments to deliver an exceptional MUN experience that meets international standards of diplomatic simulation.
